As a response to the concerns of the Old Town Chinatown community surrounding public safety, the OTCTCA Livability Committee is presenting “Safety 101,” a series of personal and community safety classes. Different subjects will be presented regularly on the fourth week of each month at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, 75 NW Couch, from 6 – 7:30 pm. Future topics will include WomenStrength, disaster response & preparedness, cyber security, and more.
This month we’re going to focus on knowing our neighborhood. Four of our shelter providers will present information and answer questions about the services they provide and the clients they serve.
