Connecting Community through Art Silent Auction
Connecting Community through Art is a collaboration of four nonprofits, hosted by City Team, with Better Neighbors, Going Home II, and Oregon Harbor Of Hope.
This event will feature artist Kirk Charlton and his "My Personal Experience" show. His graphite drawings depict images and events from his time being incarcerated.
Along with additional artwork by incarcerated or formally incarcerated individuals, refreshments, music, presentations, and a silent auction.
This event is a great opportunity to see some incredible art, meet the artists, and learn about the amazing work these four nonprofits are doing.

Matsutake Mushroom Hunting Lecture

Amy Peterson, who leads the Japanese American Museum of Oregon’s annual matsutake hunt, will give a talk on mushroom hunting in Oregon, how to identify mushrooms, equipment needed, and where to find mushrooms locally.
